Pros
Smartest people i've ever worked with. Everyone cares. That's the big difference here. You don't come to Tempus because you want to work short hours, or build pretty front end applications, or get google-like 10% of time to work on whatever you want. People come here because their loved ones have been impacted by cancer and they want to do something about it. They come here because they see that data isn't being used in cancer treatment the way that it can be and should be. They're here because they see a problem that can be fixed and want to fix it fast. That's pretty cool to be a part of.
Cons
Hours. I'm expected to work a ton here. I get it, we're trying to do something that hasn't been done. But it really is a lot and anyone coming to work here needs to know that it's going to be hard and a lot of nights and weekends will be required. To me, it's worth it. But not for everyone
