      Pros

      A team of very smart, motivated people who are united and motivated by the mission and vision of the company. It's incredible to be able to do such meaningful work in a fast paced, impactful environment. Very collaborative environment, decisions get made quickly, startup in its best form.

      Cons

      Very fast paced, lots of competing priorities which is common to all startups, not just Tempus. But it's not for everyone, especially if you are coming from a big company or academia, Tempus could feel like quite a culture shock.

      Pros

      + Mission is noble. Trying to do good in oncology. + You will hear science terms like DNA,RNA,Immunotherapy etc all the time. + Free snacks, lunch subsidy and office lunch once a week + Casual attire.

      Cons

      -Not sure if the founders are really interested in making a difference in cancer care or is this another business to flip after jacking up the valuation? -No work from home policy. You are required to be in office all the time. Hello, this is a tech company and it is the 21st century. -Engineering has zombies working who do not know what other teams are doing. Siloed teams with no mentoring or career progression. -Excellent engineers have left and what are left are just there for a job and looking out. -Data science team has no subject matter experts in Oncology
