      Pros

      People really, truly care about what the work they're doing here, and it shows. It's rare to work at a company where you can see the direct impact you're making, and that makes a big difference. This place if full of brilliant people with a variety of backgrounds and specialties working together everyday to produce something great.

      Cons

      If you're looking for a 9-5 job, this might not be the place for you. It's a fast-paced, challenging, start-up environment (but that's what most people love about it!).

      Solving hard problems at a fast pace

      Pros

      For those of us in technology, we don't often get the chance to work on problems like this. Tempus is fast paced, working directly with science teams on cutting edge cancer research. Tempus isn't 4 steps away from cancer, or indirectly influencing it, it is directly involved. You don't get chances like that often. The team is amazing. A bunch of hungry people who understand what they are working on and why it's so important.

      Cons

      You work in Cancer care, for real patients. Time is of the utmost importance for these patients. It leads to a situation where you and your peers are often pushing as fast as you can go to try to make breakthroughs and deliver products to help real cancer patients.

      - Some of the best engineers work here - Domain is interesting -> big data/genomics for cancer treatment - Fast moving and ample opportunities to own deliverables in Engineering - Engineering Leadership is capable and experienced

      Cons

      - At times, things can be moving very fast from all sides
