Tempus wants the impossible: cheaply paid labor and high retainment
Pros
similar to CRO's, tempus is designed to wring everything they can out of recent grads with minimal work experience before they eventually get enough experience to quit and move onto positions with better pay and benefits. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing- Tempus gets cheap labor, and entry level employees get their foot into the door in industry. It's a reciprical relationship
Cons
If you operate on the above model, you can't be bitter when your employees eventually move on. Tempus handles resignations extremely unprofessionally, even for employees who have stayed for several years and give their full two weeks notice. If you're annoyed about staffing cuts, take that up with the people controlling benefits and how many people you're allowed to hire, not your employees.
