Pros

-Lab workers from all sorts of backgrounds that you can meet and learn a lot from. -Opportunity to grow, but only if you’re someone who’s light on experience so they can sculpt you into the kind of employee they want (and take advantage of). I guess this a con then.

Cons

-Incredibly low pay. -Preanalyctics Management constantly changing the workflow every few months, each change making it worse and more stressful for the teams, only to find out that they have absolutely no idea how the work actually gets done and all they rely on to make decisions is the “data” they get from their spreadsheets about “productivity” instead of just talking to the teams. Their latest “Project 7” initiative has introduced the worst workflow imaginable, ever increasing tasks and responsibilities without increase in pay and is responsible for worst team morale I’ve ever seen at a job that produces the biggest turnover you’ll ever see, and yet they wonder why productivity is down. All while treating everyone on the teams like they’re robots without lives and forcing them to work overtime every single day. This also creates a lot of stress on team leaders and supervisors who have constantly train new employees every two weeks to replace everyone who walks out the door once they realize this place isn’t worth it. -Promotion opportunities will go to the aforementioned “sculptable” employees they can exploit to give them more responsibility with very little pay raise, rather than someone who has the experience and skills to negotiate better pay. “Too valuable to promote” is a thing, so if you wanna work here, don’t overwork and do the bare minimum otherwise you’ll be stuck in one place for a long time because you’re too “valuable” to the team to go to a different department.

Pros

Barista until 2pm and free Snacks

Cons

The employees are the cliquiest people you’ll ever meet. I was hired as a new graduate fresh out of college, the drama at this place amongst teams is ridiculous. Everyone talks poorly about each other. My manager had hired 3 of her best friends on and that was favoritism at its best. Management is horrible and burn you out, give you no credit for work that you have done. The pay is pathetic and the raises are almost non existent. When I got my year end review I was docked down points for not attending a happy hour. (which I didn’t want to attend because everyone talks so negatively on one another) Not attending the happy hour was thrown in my face a lot in team meetings. If you’re a new graduate please run, don’t walk from this place. After leaving I found a job that almost doubled my pay doing the SAME THING.
