      Pros

      Lots of smart, hard-working folks with good collaborative skills. Lots of powerful systems. Potential to improve cancer treatment and drug discovery in numerous orthogonal areas: bio markers, progression prediction, improving clinical trials.

      Cons

      Poor management, poor leadership not uncommon but depends on the team. Lack of strategic technical leadership. Generally poor integration of business units. Amateurish senior management. Example: No budgets! Feels like a family-run company because everything seems to go back to the CEO — no distributed decision-making.

      Pros

      The office is cool, but as a lab employee you will not really be able to enjoy it because you will be expected to work in the lab nonstop

      Cons

      Limited PTO policy No upward career mobility No parking provided (you have to pay for your own spot in a parking garage) No 401K matching Pathetic raises after each year (like 20 cents per year)
