Pros

Some teams are managed well so your daily routine can be good despite the cons. You aren't pressured to work long hours.

Cons

Ten-X executive leadership is a failure. Some reviews here are extremely dishonest. Compensation and career prospects are far below average. The company is unable to hire or retain employees competitively. I plan to quit.

Pros

As a company they're looking to disrupt an industry and have so much potential. They're challenging the status quo, and if successful will be a necessity for brokerage firms, as they will have a buyer network that competes with the broker's internal network. They have some innovative products as well. As an employee I have been promoted, and have seen others get promoted. Career path varies by role, but it's something they've improved recently. The offices are pretty casual, fairly laid back, great work life balance, free snack and drinks, decent benefits with 401k matching, wfh options, and catered lunches.

Cons

Gatekeeping occurs if you don't have years in real estate. The company is a merger of tech and real estate, but leadership (VPs and above) are almost exclusively from a real estate background. The result is knowledge imbalance and incompetency as some of them don't know basic business principles, like the difference between an account manager and an account executive, or what an MQL is. The result is they promote and hire people who also lack competence, and you end of working with people who don't know what they're doing . Knowledge gaps shouldn't occur at that level, and most would never get hired in another tech company in an equivalent position. Also the CEO has a nepotistic relationship with one individual that makes everyone uncomfortable.

Pros

Company mission to bring more transparency to CRE is great

Cons

The main point of this post is to point out that the last two reviews were once again written by an employee at the request of management. They should be taken down.
