Pros

Top technology in the EDW space, growing into the 'big data' space. Technical talent highly respected, top talent treated very well. Consultants need strong communication & customer management skills, generally solo engagements as the expert, or on very small teams. Excellent access to training and detailed technical information, R&D pipeline, etc.. No hassles on expense reports.

Cons

No regional salary differential, compensation not fully competitive on West Coast. Industry alignment of PS teams causes more travel than necessary. Staff in New York flies to Dallas, and Dallas to New York. Travel, but depends on account. Some allow 2 of 3 weeks remote, some want you on site.
