Pros

People of Teradata are a great team, with a strong vision for analytics and with the customer focus. The Teradata technology is sound and when used well provides unmatched value to customers.

Cons

The last four years have been a mess that we proudly call a transformation. Complete lack of focused and knowledgeable execution of otherwise sensible strategy.

Pros

I started working at Teradata a year ago, It has a great culture of inclusion, diversity and talent. I respect and admire everyone I work with. I obtain a lot of support from leadership to implement new things. I enjoy the flexibility to work from home when I need to and go to our gym after work. Teradata really promotes a work life balance.

Cons

Not many opportunities for training on different technologies. Professional growth is not strongly embedded in the company, it feels like you have to fight for it. Parking is horrible in the Rancho Bernardo Facility after 9am. Recognition of contributions can be improved.

Solid Company Doing Some Very Innovative Things

Pros

1.) Management listens, 2. ) Leading Edge of AI/ML and 3.) New Data/Analytics Platform. Company has excellent client success and substantial Cloud partnerships with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Their platform is the real deal for analytics at scale. Combined with new really innovative service offerings, clients are adopting them across industry use-cases.

Cons

I've never worked for a company without a few challenges, but the future is certainty bright from my perspective and I'm generally a skeptical person.
