Pros

Company car and paid gas. iPad. Phone. There are expensive benefits. Long hours. Unappreciated. Oh wait. Wrong section. Paid twice a month but one of those is with your own money.

Cons

Management at the Dayton Ohio office. All management. None of them know how to say there wrong and will argue and bounce it back onto you to make you think your wrong. Pay is never right or the same at the end of the month. That means it is probably never right at the middle of the month. The service department messes things up so the commission is taken away from the sales guys. Then management blames the sales guys for it. Your told you have to work 8-5 regardless of how manny appointments you have in the winter because “thats what the hours are” but in the spring when you don’t get home until dark its because “thats the job”. Rules are constantly changed depending on how the branch manager feels that day. Morale is at an all time low and I’ve worked here a very long time. I would not want to work here at all if I had other choices. No paid time off like in the job description since we went full commission. No vacation sick time or personal holidays.

Pros

Enjoyed working with most but not all my coworkers! Taking home work truck gas card and company credit card for hotel and meals when working out of town! and that is it!!

Cons

If you like to work between 55 and 70 hours a week and have a new pay plan every two years that worse then the last pay plan then this is the place for you! if you work hard and don't kiss up to management or spy on other pest tech for them then you will never get far at Terminix! But if you suck up to management and run and tell on your coworkers for anything or nothing you will be a rock star at this place! They dont care one bit about you its all about the oh mighty dollar! They dont care about loyal tech that have been their for over 10 years with out ever getting on trouble and just doing their jobs! All it takes is a new Branch manager that doesn't like you becouse you don't kiss up to them and the next thing you know is that your fired!!! Management is a freaking Joke BIG time! And their bosses are even more out of touch with the face of the company and that would be us the tech! They use fear of losing your job to get you to do their bidding! I'm just telling like i see!! I lived it for over 10 years! Dont even considered applying for a job here it isn't worth the stess or no family life at all! you work your butt off and it is never enough it doesn't matter if you run your route and sell 6,000 in pest control one month becouse the next month you better double that becouse you go from hero to Zero in sixty second or less! Advice: stay clean of this Toxic evil empire you have been warned!

Pros

company truck, good training program

Cons

Terrible culture. They will suck the life out of you and throw you away when they're done. They expect 50-60 hours a week but will not pay you accordingly, and they will constantly roll out new policies that actively make it harder to do your job. They care far more about making their metrics pretty than they do about taking care of their customers and they certainly don't care at all about their employees.
