Pros

Great People to work with at the Local Level.

Cons

1. The current President of Terminix and HR are destroying the company from the bottom up 2. The new pay scale is GARBAGE!!! 3. Terminix no longer wants high producing sales people. They want a lot of $20K-$30K Reps they can take advantage of. 4. Terminix does NOT feel the need for a reason to get rid of you. They will make up whatever they want if they don't want you around anymore. Four examples made one week after the company had their award trip in Cabo. Those individuals were held to a higher standard than ANY of the upper level management and they are trying to make examples of them by lying about their terminations. Terminix has sunk to new levels to try and get their stock price up. 4. President of Terminix tried to force everyone at the final dinner on award trip to post something positive on this website. 5. Terminix is going back to ripping off customers to make more profit. Selling insulation outside of its label. Stating that the new insulation they are using, not TAP, kills the same bugs that TAP does. Even though the manufacturer doesn't make those claims and the new insulation does not require a pest control license to blow... Like TAP does. 6. New Terminix is trying to live on their old accomplishments and Mission statement that no longer is true or accurate under the new management regime. 7. Training is horrible 8. On the state of Florida's Department of Agriculture watch list. 9. Terminix still subcontracting out fumigation even though they have had two severe mishaps in the last year with fumigations gone wrong. Our office was told that Terminix was not going to allow subcontracting on fumigation in 2016. Come to find out that companies trying to hire me now are doing Terminix fumigations in Florida. 10. Must work at least 3 Saturdays/month 11. Work and Family life balance is a complete and utter myth. Terminix wants its employees to be Terminix 18hours a day. If your eyes are open, Terminix feels you are theirs!

Pros

Hard work was rewarded in the past. Great leadership in the field. I really enjoyed working here. Then along came the new president.

Cons

This is company that is in the process of being completely dismantled. It has become a company that is ran by HR and they haven't a clue what they are destroying. Changing our compensation without any input from the field or the folks who lead us in the field. I have worked with this company for several years and watching it be torn apart is devastating. This was a wonderful place to work and grow. The new president along with HR have destroyed what several good people before them have built. I'm still proud of what this company has accomplished in the past but now wondering what the future holds for me and my coworkers.

Pros

Large company with plenty of opportunity to move up and a car that you get to bring home with you.

Cons

Significant cut in pay (California). Corporate level doesn't value its employees. Division and regional are just pawns in the game and have no real power to make changes. Overloaded schedules are impossible to manage. Use to make a really good living at this company and it is now impossible.
