YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. All you are is a number. Claim to reward top performers but continuously make the numbers unattainable. Management is not supported. Continuous change to benefit the bottom line at the expense of the employee. If you do have to take a position at this company,only take a technician position. Never move to management. Very poorly trained staff and poor, over priced service. STAY AWAY

The manager I had was a complete liar and eventually was fired for it. It took many complaints by employees and a few hr investigations. The company is all about numbers. They care less about quality and more about how many customers you can service in a day. 16-20 services a day during the summer is common. On one hand they want all the customers serviced, but then complain about overtime. They expect you to take 25 minutes at a location, then drive however long to your next stop, which can be 5 minutes, or an hour. But they still want all those services done. They expect you to up-sell to customers constantly, which I feel hurts the relationship with the customer. They get tired of hearing the spiel. Paycheck is totally dependent on the services you do and your retention rate. Weekly meetings suck. Bi-weekly would be enough.

Pros

Got paid weekly! Had some awesome co-workers from Training class! Only 4 out of class of 14 remaining!

Cons

The company manipulates Employees as well as the Customers!!! They lie and then attempt to cover it up with more lies while management and HR will hide the facts of discriminatory behavior by All to protect those violating Labor Laws !!! 9 out of 10 Customers that call in are complaints and attempting to cancel the service!!! Terminix threatens you as an Employee to sell additional services to customers even when they are calling to cancel current services!!!Job description only mentions Customer service NOT sales quotas, they call "metrics" !!! I was fired for not meeting sales quotas after being put on a 30 day coaching program then fired after 5 days!!! Also, after I had complained and filed HR discriminatory complaint with HR 30 days earlier!!!
