Cons
The Terracon Omaha office is gaining a reputation in the region as one of the worst places to work for. the environmental department works staff to the bone (55-60 hour weeks are the norm),, project managers have projects dumped on them with little guidance from senior management, and the department managers take all the glory for projects lower level staff worked tirelessly on-even going so far as to delete the report authors name and replace it with their own! Worst of all, they expect you to violate your personal ethics, as the "client" is holier than thou. Bonuses are typically 3-5%, and asking for a higher salary is promptly dismissed, sometimes with unprofessional rage. If the office manager and environmental department manager left, this would be a much better office. As it is, the remaining staff who have been there more than 5 years are slowly leaving. Out of an department of 20, 11 left in 2010 alone, and more are planning on leaving soon. Look elsewhere, unless you are absolutely desperate.
