      Upper management can be a closed as far as details of business. Training not a big priority

      Pros

      Professional workplace. You will learn a TON about environmental science, the relationship between the EPA and the private sector and other nationally involved stakeholders in our country's environmental maintenance. You get two wage options: salaried or "Tech Services" (without benefits, but higher pay). Somewhat casual work environment.

      Cons

      Very "corporatey" procedures. The environment can be very stale at times—great if you work best in quiet, bad if you thrive in more open social environments.
