Pros

- Technical Learning is immense - Switching your domains is possible and is very well supported - Is the best company to start your career with due to the learning - Technical risk taking is encouraged and supported

Cons

- No performance appraisal system, the evolving system is employee infriendly and opaque. Your performance is at the discretion of higher ups and you will just get to end results (Good/bad) - No formal mentoring system. It exists on paper but is discouraged - Fairness is not the central idea of performance appraisal.

Pros

Low cost of living in TX Sound long term management strategy Good and ethical financials

Cons

Closed "inner circle" of upper management Promotions not always based on merit Unfair "affirmative action" promoting unfit women managers to leadership roles (some are actually good, but most do not get any respect)
