Pros

TI is business oriented, competitive in the industry, and is out to win in the market. TI is focused on people development, ethics, and a good place for a career. Engineering oriented for sure, though certainly business success comes with financial success.

Cons

TI is a business machine. Salary is competitive in order to maintain talent, but not an end in itself. TI pays people to keep them, but does not aim to be over-market. This is OK if you'r e a realist with your expectations. It is a challenging environment, with an expectation of performance. If there is a downside to this, you may not be successful if not ready to give it your all and fully engage, and this competitive nature may cause pressure at times, or drive some from the organization.
