Pros

- Focused in analog - very strong engineers you can work with - has an amazing sales force - great for sales and marketing roles - flexible to allow lateral movement - provides travel opportunities - marketing is given importance - situated in Texas, low cost of living

Cons

- Dallas could be boring for some - very big company, hard to shine out - progression may be slower than expected as you get higher up - some work can get routine - a lot of tight deadlines and firefighting can compromise work-life balance

Pros

The opportunity for career growth at TI and the benefit of continuing education tuition assistance is a plus. Also, being able to work only "1/2" a year because of "shift" work allows individuals to spend more time at home or go to school and get paid as a "full" time employee. With shift work you get 'paid" time and a half after 8hrs.

Cons

Working at a fab out of Dallas can limit your opportunity for growth due to limit of job openings.
