You get a solid job, good benefits, great work experience, ability to do something meaningful and are in austin

Cons

You have to work along side LAZY people, have to deal with all sorts of red tape, low pay, and overall strange people.

Pros

Strong science team with innovative approaches. Great environment to work alongside talented individuals and grow professionally. Very friendly group of people and the office has a great location.

Cons

Often decisions were based on political objectives and O&G was sometimes protected when faced with scrutiny. Though the science was done in a orderly means, things like climate change or O&G contamination of groundwater were largely ignored or not allowed to discuss at work. Often, politics governed the science...
