Pros

Benefits are decent at best

Cons

Company is growing so fast, the leadership on each team are all new so everything is unorganized with people that have very large egos.

Thank you for your feedback! We know change is hard and that our growth can be challenging for those who are impacted by our efforts to set our teams up to scale. We are onboarding new leaders and colleagues quickly as we grow - our incredible talent acquisition team ensures the individuals hired or promoted into the new roles can bring in fresh new perspectives and skills that will make our operations even better. While our growth allows us to invest in new people, technologies and processes to serve our clients even better, it also puts stress on our front-line colleagues as the processes and direction shifts. We thank you for your passion, your patience and continued commitment to fulfilling our promises to our clients and each other while we train the individuals in the new roles. We are taking steps in the right direction every day and want you to feel empowered to do the same. Keep that feedback coming!

Pros

If your someone who works hard and takes pride in what you do, than Insgroup is a great place to advance your career. A significant amount of new hires were referred by current employees, this says a lot about the company as an employer in an ultra competitive market. They also value clients like no other - everyone says it, but they actually support it with action.

Cons

Have to navigate corporate politics like most companies. Management tries to be cognizant of this, but could do more.

Pros

perks, benefits, corporate culture, work-life balance

Cons

branches outside of the corporate office felt a disconnect and weren't always inline with the culture. Don't pay very well but expect A LOT out of you.

Thank you for your candid feedback! The “branches” as you refer to them are office locations recently brought into BKS through partnerships. When a firm in a new market joins BKS through a partnership, we have found that most of the new colleagues are excited and energized by our vibrant culture. Despite the positive reception, it takes time for it to be fully adopted because it requires change in process, mindset and behaviors. During our integration process, we take the time to learn about the existing office culture and learn from it. We frequently find amazing cultural initiatives that we had never thought of – we keep these engrained in the local office operations or deploy them across all of BKS. We also do extensive training to empower each new colleague to own, embody and nurture the BKS culture. As you experienced, getting a new location fully onboard is a dance and we are learning new steps with each partnership. Our integration team, leadership and BKSers new and old are from each experience and continue to improve our processes with each of our offices across the country. To your second point, we do expect a lot out of our colleagues – Grit and Dreaming are some of our core values if that tells you anything! Our salaries are formulated by market value of the position and years of experience. We have robust benefits and perks in place to ensure the hard work is celebrated and rewarded, but are continuing to evaluate ways we can evolve with the needs (and sheer awesomeness) of our colleagues. You have many opportunities to provide your feedback on what is offered and we encourage you to take advantage of them… we recently implemented PeerFit based on colleague feedback from a new partnership – your feedback is heard and drives positive change! We sincerely appreciate your passion for making the culture here better for all locations. We are making steps in the right direction every day and want you to feel empowered to do the same. Keep that feedback coming!
