      a fun, young, and growing company with lots of opportunity

      Cons

      because the parent company grew by acquisition, the phase of integrating them all now into "One" company is creating much more stress and change than seems necessary so quickly creating overload and burnout to colleagues

      Over worked staff due to no new hiring and no back filling positions that are being left due to the current work volume. Getting progressively worse as time goes on. When I started at BRP almost 3 years ago Glassdoor had it rated at 4.5 stars, it has since decreased and that is a reflection on the direction of the company. BRP seems to have grown too rapidly by consuming other smaller companies to the point where it cannot afford to sustain itself thus resulting in poor working conditions for its employees as well as cutting annual bonuses for many departments. Even my direct management has stated that they have given up trying to make positive change as it only ever falls on def ears.

      Pros

      In my 9 year tenure with the Firm I have received several promotions and am always encouraged to express my thoughts and contribute ideas to the Firms well being. Employment here has never been stagnant or boring. We are growing as an entity and are encouraged to grow as individuals. On a personal note I recently struggled with infertility followed by a high risk pregnancy. I had doctors appointments several times a week, was sick, miserable, and just really not myself for nearly a year. The Firm was not only accommodating, but management was also extremely supportive.

      Cons

      We are busy. This is a high paced environment for the Type A Overachiever. The possibilities are endless, but you have to have the drive to succeed, otherwise you're not going to fit it here.
