      Pros

      40% discount for employee's. Get to help people with their style which gives them the feel of having a personal shopper. The energy in the store is always so positive. Even if you aren't looking to do retail for the rest of your life it's a great place to start out. I learned so much from the company and I know I will take with me useful skills that will help me excel in my future endeavors.

      Cons

      Hours are long... and there is no overtime so if you exceed your hours that week and have to work over than you are not properly compensated for the extra hours. Working on commission is also a con because you never have a steady pay check so you really have to budget your money.

      Pros

      Loved helping the guest and the mission of the company is unique.

      Cons

      A store in the district closed down and merged with the only other store in the same district. Original store staff had hours cut back while the merger of other employees maintained their hours. The product at buckle is very expensive and the quality is pretty poor. A lot of their shirts fall apart or shrink within one wear. Though I was hired at full time I never worked full time for 7 consecutive pay periods to earn my benefits. If you are under 35 hours for 2 weeks they begin to recount.
