Pros

Great discount. They always want you to move up in the company. Easy environment.

Cons

Open on holidays. Competitive. Management always on your tail about forcing people to buy things.

Pros

Loved the coworkers, great upbeat atmosphere, retail discount and good possibility to move up with the company.......if you can hit numbers.

Cons

They have a very pushy sales system. I have worked in a lot of different retail positions and I get it the goal is to sell sell sell. At Buckle if someone just comes in wanting a t-shirt they have you pick out about ten others and send them in the dressing room, while they are in the dressing room you are supposed to grab multiple pairs of jeans and throw them over the top and then go in the back and grab multiple pairs of shoes and slide them under the door. If you don't do this every time you are reprimanded and I have seen customers walk out because they felt they were overwhelmed and this was by management not just the average sales associate. My advice if you don't feel like shoving multiple items down a customers throat to the point you are both uncomfortable then don't apply here.

Pros

Great mission, passionate employees, fast pace, flexible schedule, competitive pay/ no pay cap, travel opportunities, rewards and bonuses for recruiting, loss prevention, working thanksgiving and top sales, etc... So much room for growth and to color outside the lines and be creative with ideas! I love travel opportunities and being involved within the district; it’s very rewarding to develop others into strong teammates and leaders.... I could go in forever....!

Cons

Tons of expectations to fulfill on a daily basis, must be on your “A” game every shift! Can be slightly exhausting at times.
