Pros

Employee Discount, Flexible Schedule, Bonus Structure for Store Managers, Great Products, etc. Most of the store level employees are great people.

Cons

Poor management at store level, low pay, horrible training, unrealistic sales expectations, etc. The only thing I can honestly say I have learned, is what not to do.

Pros

This job gave me the best experiance I could ever take away from a job. Patially it was my manager/mentor who sparked a fire inside me, developed my sales, marketing, and fashion skills, helped me to be a great repport builder, and gave me an inside look into the workings of a company with a start up mantality. Working at The Buckle will be the front doors to your career.

Cons

As the front doors to your career this place is not a final stop, but more of a revolving door. They hire like nuts, and people leave just as fast. Working at The Buckle is like being in Limbo, you've moved into a possition that is only a temporary. On a personal note they let me go because of a very bad accuasation against me that I proved to be untrue. I choose to stay away as clearing this job was not in my best interest. Commision based and start you at a very poor hourly rate.

Pros

Competitive pay for all positions. Opportunity to advance. 40% discount. Great FT insurance benefits and managers are 100% paid for. Working for a financially sound company with 0 long term debt. So many more but those are a few.

Cons

None unless you are entitled and don't want to work hard for your results. If you are a manager work life balance can be hard at first but if you recruit, hire and develop a great team they will make the balance good.
