Pros

The discount is good. 40%. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Favorites are obvious...team leaders dating teammates with manager's knowledge and no repercussions, which is against policy. (this is only one example of many). Management is young and inexperienced. People who have worked there for years believe the Buckle is the only place in the world that matters. Sales SHARKS! Environment is based on who is working that particular shift. Moral goes down when manager is present because they expect so much and there is a pressure for a hard sell.

Pros

40% discount off regualr merchandise. However, it still is costly.

Cons

They only like to hire young people typically early 20's. They have a very differnet approach to selling and some of the sales staff can be pushy and not sincere. They want you to take feedback and apply it. Sometimes you may work with some unruly sales people there.

Pros

Buckle offers a 40% discount to their employees. They are very easy to work with in terms of scheduling. The people you work with are always friendly and helpful. There is potential to move up the "food chain" quickly. You determine your pay as a teammate - as a manager in training you get a set hourly wage and are eligible for ovetime. As a store manager you receive a base pay and bonuses. It offers medical and dental insurance for full time employees for only $25 a paycheck for a single person. Store managers receive free health insurance.

Cons

You have to be available to work weekends. It has irregular hours and no set schedule. The only holidays the store isn't open is Christmas and Thanksgiving (depending upon the mall) and you don't get paid time and a half on other holidays.
