Pros

Flexible schedule for part-time teammates Hundreds of locations Ability to transfer Commission-based income Opportunity to ladder climb High turnover (less competition)

Cons

Commission-based income is inherently inconsistent and the market is still down (chances of making what they estimate as an average are very, very low) High turnover promotes constant bottom-level training and less individual development Scheduling - if you have an open schedule, you run the risk of being schedule more than one week straight regardless of your position Ladder climbing is ambiguous and not nearly as easy as they allow you to believe it is - they insist that interns receive store keys in two months (interns rarely receive store keys at all, which also means no raise) NOT employee focused - do not expect them to develop you like they say they will or keep up with your internship program even if you remind them Bombarding consumers with product, whether or not that actually creates "the most enjoyable shopping experience for the guest", is the ultimate goal

Pros

Ability to make commission reasonable (however, contingent upon store traffic, not always your sales techniques) Room for growth Expanding company

Cons

Depending on your store manager, they often force you to be pushy in sales- a quality most clients find to be annoying

Pros

Advancement Opportunities Competitive Rates Positive Atmosphere Support Management Great Product Competitive This is a company that wants you to be successful with them, they also want you to grow their business it is not just about individual accomplishments

Cons

The competitive nature of the Team can be a con as well, some will claim sales that are not theirs but most of those do not last long at the stores. The road to the top can be a long one usually with interviews being performance based.
