      Refuse to modernize,outdated clothing options and below average management from store to executive level

      Fun work environment Flexible schedule Most people you work with are great Really responsive executives Good opportunity’s to move up

      Cons

      Make you push store credit cards, you’re not aloud to take no for an answer, Refuse to get rid of old brands that outdate the store they don’t have a clear direction shopping with us can be very confusing, we have a lot of styles and brands but they are so all over the place it makes shopping really hard You have to be pushy you’re not aloud to let someone browse the store by their self Store managers are usually friends with their area and district managers so they get away with a lot Company is going downhill sales are down in retail period but we are even worse, we are down around 3% every quarter so the company is having a hard time and has taken to some rather questionable practices to keep stock prices up Some people are really hard to deal with, if you don’t have a good store manager you will hate it here

      Sales Associate, AWFUL place to work!

      40% off Clothes, Not really any Pros maybe a good job for high school students.................................................. The Buckle way is STUPID and try having some fun being personable and getting mad at employees when they are talking to customers, is what customers appreciate not fake pushy customer service! Your training is awful your a Mall store why do you have SO much training 5 days worth plus some... pay you employees better and treat them better maybe your turn over rate wouldn’t be so bad....

      Cons

      $6.50 an hour only 3% commission so you never have money to use your 40% off clothes there, plus they make you wear Buckle clothes. Nagging and pushy Segment leaders always checking on you every 5 minutes whatever I said to customers she always corrected me like I was 5 years old. You have to check in every time you help a customer, get a dressing room, or pull clothes for a customer it’s awful then they follow you around and ease drop on what you say to your customers then come pull you aside and correct you if it’s not “the Buckle way” seriously a joke asking if you can use the bathroom or get a drink! Plus if you don’t fit in there they talk bad about you to the other employees and look down on you very fake. You are constantly refolding clothes that are folded to look busy to customers.. no work like balancing the schedule sucks you get your new schedule every Thursday for the following week. So much micro management having 4 or 5 team managers having them tell you back in forth to check in with a different manager. Plus it’s like a shark tank with customers and commission you will definitely make the other employees mad by ringing up your sales having customers complaining about other employees being to overbearing and annoying! Then they will take half your sales and split them with the other teammate that didn’t do anything!!! Do not work here!
