Not A Great Place To Work

Pros

•Flexible Hours (at least in the dept I worked in) •Benefits are pretty good •Remote work 3 days a week •Free Starbucks Coffee •You can wear jeans

Cons

•Focused on money and managers - if you don't make money or you aren't a manager then they could careless about you. You are replaceable. •Very unfriendly bunch. No one smiles, no laughter, no joy in this place. Way too much unhappiness here. •Very poor communication •Very big on this "DREAM" culture but the many of the managers and leaders don't follow it yet expect all staff to follow it. A lot of hypocrisy in this area. •Do not get much support from supervisors with job tasks esp with problems or issues. •The dept I worked is run like how things were 20 years ago. Not open to new ideas or ways to do things. •Very high staff turnover for a small dept

Tough Environment

Pros

Stable. Annual License Fees = jobs for the foreseeable future. An invested customer base is a good thing.

Cons

Tough place to actually succeed. Products are developed in a silo and as a result two sets of dev folks could end up coming up with overlapping products. There is often lack of a clear roadmap for products and for the company as a whole. Senior Management is slow to make needed changes and the two different businesses (card systems and nutrition software) seem like they play by different rules.
