Pros
- Having been employed by a globally recognized brand is a great thing to have under your belt. - Free soda in corporate break rooms. - There are some truly talented and knowledgable people working here, so being in their presence allows for the opportunity (not the necessity) of learning a lot.
Cons
- The idea of "Diversity" is replaced by events especially for specific minority groups - events that never happen and aren't even available for less "ethnically unique" people - Every corporate communication stresses how "we can achieve because our employees want to win" and how "strong our brands are" while at the same time, they're outsourcing everything they possibly can to cut costs. You're either for your people or against them. I'd think with the massive slush fund CCE has, they could afford to be for their people all the way through this recession, but apparently they'd rather outsource in vain hopes of "returning to growth." Notice how I didn't say "returning to profitability" but "returning to growth." CCE is still making money.
