Fun work environment. Get to learn from the kids every day. Never the same day twice!

Cons

Owners are not held to any standard. As long as franchise fees are paid to the company, there are no repercussions for owners doing a crappy job.

Pros

The children and my co teachers. I had/have a great relationship with the kids and the parents. I learned how to multitask. I had my son enrolled and he built a few friendships during his short education there.

Cons

It was a stipulation of employment to sign a contract with a $500 penalty for leaving before the end of the academic year. The classes were overenrolled. Some teachers in preK didn't even have a college degree. Lots of shortcuts taken with cleanliness and safety. I withdrew my son and quit because of overenrollment.

Pros

Co workers and some of the families are friendly and supportive. It's a pay check.

Cons

No understanding of quality early child care with group size and caregiver continuity. Horrible ratios and no support if you are out of ratio. Small classrooms No quality toys and resources in the classroom. No places for children to climb and explore. No dress up clothes are allowed because there is no washer provided to clean them daily. Toys are all Plastic and not changed often. Playground is sterile and children don't have enough to keep them busy. It just looks clean. Very unsupported by management. Looks good on paper it's all a show to get money.
