Pros

If you like what you do then a pro would be the students you work for.

Cons

Gossip, aides have no experience, don't work, don't support teachers, principals don't listen, don't support teachers. You five times as hard as you should because aides can't be bothered to work. Very high turn over for many reasons but mostly because of the classroom aides! This company is a business to make money not a school to educate.

Pros

Some employees are great to work with at the agency.

Cons

Poor Management from the top down. Executives don't care about any employee except themselves. Pay is not competitive - the TAs only make $12, but we are the ones doing the work with the kids.

Prepare to be burnt out and unappreciated.

Pros

The agency is well-known and offers a good amount of training opportunities. Many staff members truly care about the kids.

Cons

The structure of things is awful. Laughable pay for the staff stuck in the trenches who get hit, kicked, screamed at (by kids and parents). No emotional support when feeling burnt out. If you perform well, they reward you by giving you more work than the overwhelmingly large amount you have without so much as a "thank you." The free health insurance is awful. Staff call-outs are constant and turnover is inevitable (not that management does anything to retain staff). Willing to risk the safety and wellbeing of staff in order to save face and keep the numbers good.
