Pros

The team is hardworking and supportive, the benefits are generous, the role allows employees to thrive and share their strengths, and the overall culture of TKWW is inclusive, aware, and fair. I also really appreciate how management trusts employees to autonomously do their work, collaboration is encouraged, and creative approaches are celebrated. Overall, I love being a part of this team and contributing to its success. Regarding a recent negative review, I'd like to say that it is not consistent with my experience.

Cons

Working at home during the pandemic has hindered in-person collaboration which is a big part of our experience. I'm looking forward to getting back in the office and being able to interact with the team again.

Monotonous, mundane work

Pros

The content team is made up of many creative and talented people who make the office an enjoyable place to work.

Cons

TKWW will advertise the position as a creative writing job, while in reality it consists of little more than churning out generic copy day in and day out. Many employees have experienced burnout, though leadership will dismiss this and suggest attending a mindfulness webinar. Their hustle/positivity culture tends to get very toxic. Employees are treated like machines who must be passionate and enthusiastic about work 24/7. Higher-ups drag on about being your friends but one minor disagreement will get you blacklisted. There are also little to no opportunities for career advancement. Corporate has created "specialist" and "senior" positions that give the illusion of upward mobility, but if one wants to advance their career, they'd have to seek employment elsewhere. Anyone who enjoys writing as a creative pursuit or artistic expression will not have a positive experience here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are disappointed that this is your experience with us. We are actively testing new ways of writing on our Content team that are designed to engage creativity. Work-life balance is a huge priority for us, and we have a wide offering of varied resources to help support mental health and wellbeing for all employees throughout the pandemic, including encouraging time off and different wellbeing and mindfulness events and programs. In the last several weeks, we have reviewed the Senior and Specialists job roles - incorporating responsibilities and areas of growth that reflect the roles and which add to the depth of the team knowledge and work on developing our people’s skill sets. Growth and development looks different for every individual, and as a current employee, we ask that you share your feedback and concerns with the Galway leadership team or your HRBP so that we can address your personal circumstances.
