Strong People, But a Very Different Culture Today

Pros

TKWW has had many talented, thoughtful people across the organization, and for a long time it fostered a collaborative culture with a strong sense of purpose. It has also offered meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and work with smart teams that care about the business and about each other.

Cons

TKWW is clearly going through a major transition and change itself is not the issue. It is understandable that growth often requires difficult decisions. The bigger concern is how that change has been managed. TKWW once felt more transparent and inclusive, with employees more regularly included in conversations and kept informed. More recently, it has felt defined by top down decisions, inconsistent direction, and visible misalignment across senior leadership. The result is a workplace that often feels uncertain and increasingly disconnected. Misaligned priorities across teams seem to have led to inefficiencies, duplicated effort, and unnecessary strain on resources. Workloads appear increasingly heavy, while a growing volume of meetings can make it harder to maintain focus, productivity, and momentum. The company at times feels as though it is still searching for a clear identity and direction. That shift is especially disappointing because TKWW was once known for a stronger culture and a clearer sense that employees were valued. In recent years, that culture appears to have changed meaningfully, and the employee experience seems to reflect that. After many years with the company, being let go without even an exit interview felt like a clear reflection of how much that culture had changed.

Pros

Remote work and "unlimited PTO"

Cons

This company will overwork you and micromanage you to death if you let them. Lots of toxic positivity and passive aggressive "Linkedin Lunatic" behavior with this group. First week of training they laid out a pathway to show us how we could be fired within 3/4 months if those numbers aren't hitting. Speaking of which, you don't make any commission until AFTER you hit 80% of your goal. They demand you to work until 6pm daily, along with multiple layers of checking your work and micromanaging your every step. They want to make it seem like the environment encourages healthy competition; but believe this strangers words, it ain't healthy at all. To be a company based around the biggest day in people's lives, only to be such an unhealthy work environment blows my mind.
