Once Technicolor came in, things went downhill.

Pros

If you put in some effort, you can push for what commercials you want to work on. Employees are also great people and artists. Great place to start if you're a junior.

Cons

Everything went down when Technicolor bought them. Management has no plan for you or the ability to give you a roadmap based on your goals. There have been 2 raise freezes. When they finally raised, it was below inflation. No more lunch if you're asked to work through it. Dinner orders start at 8-9pm if you're working late so you're eating by 10 if you're lucky. Not much potential for growth and very stingy with money.

Worked to the bone Expected to the grateful to work there even though you're treated and paid poorly Expected to have the office be your second home and be ready to work ridiculous over time at the drop of a hat. Management constantly given poor excuses when confronted with questions about career progression and pay raises.

Toxic workplace. Clueless leadership. Upper management just mean. Sinking ship. Poor benefits. Most actual VFX work outsourced to Bangalore. If people aren't being laid off they are resigning. Avoid at all costs.
