Pros

ATG is one of the best companies I have ever worked for, the culture is fun and vibrant, the president Michelle N is very nice and approachable and I really enjoy that I'm able to engage with very talented and educated employees on all sorts of projects. There is never a day where I come into work and regret the choice I made to be a part of ATG. I have heard stories of how ATG used to be and can say that the previous comments shared on here may have been how ATG was then, but it's 100% better now. Directors value their team members and truly want to engage with them. They listen and act on ways to improve ATG. The partnership that Lowes brings to ATG offers support and creates structure that has been lacking. People are professional but not snobby and the best part about ATG is that they are really involved in supporting their community.

Cons

This isn't really a con, but an opportunity. Ensure managers understand what is expected out of them as a leader. It's not just to drive results, but to also empower their teams to achieve great results. Listen, act, empower and praise.

Pros

Direct management was wonderful. Great immediate team culture. Provided experience necessary to developing a real career.

Cons

Very little growth potential. Pay was grossly below industry expectations. Poor company culture. Employees viewed as potential problems to be controlled rather than assets to be cultivated. Was directly asked by executive leadership to participate in actions that violated customer privacy permissions and Federal Trade Commission laws. No budget to acquire tools or programs to effectively and efficiently perform job. Even the paperclips are kept under lock and key. Tends to hire the cheapest employees, not the best employees, which creates an atmosphere and expectation of mediocracy.

Pros

time goes by quickly in this fast-paced work place; can get in a "zen mode" by learing not to react to upset people

Cons

lack of training and support, treated like you're stupid or like you're a misbehaving child (which leads to avoiding management, which leads to mistakes being made, which leads to being treated like you're stupid), negative work environment, high turnover; pressure to work harder and faster; not knowing how we will be evaluated
