Pros

401k match is better than most in the industry.

Cons

No quantifiable measures of success, therefore no evaluation system for employees/teams. No intra-corp communications/cooperation, therefore no consistent standards, no consistent information sharing, & no career growth opportunities, as each of the 50-100 business units stays busy wasting time & donor mega-dollars reinventing the wheel every day at every location. HQ systems are Stone Age.

Pros

Flexible working hours, great office location, and lunch provided.

Cons

Comments for China BU only and will be revised if things changed 1. Centralized 2. Autocratic leadership 3. Absolutely frustrating, especially for the new leadership 4. Experienced seniors and directors who stayed for long years are leaving, mainly due to politics and frustration 5. Leaders hired from outside, do not fully understand the values and culture, and have little passion for nature conservation 6. Some people are not motivated by conservation and not driven by mission, which should be the basis of working in NGOs. Very much in doubt about how they are hired. 7. Again very frustrated

Pros

World's largest conservation organisation pays reasonable salary.

Cons

Poor work culture and no incentive of growth Being a new business unit in India, the work culture is very toxic. Pays are commensurate with the global ranges and no growth in person and salary
