Decent pay for the work. Boss was compassionate and knowledgeable about their role.
Cons
Felt mislead in the interview/onboarding process about my role. For example, I was told we'd never have to canvas but ended up canvassing. Felt like there was a lack of organization overall-- roles were unclear, random people would just show up and tell us to do things without explanation of who they were/why their word mattered. Meetings were late at night and often ran late, seemed unnecessary half the time. Terrible work-life balance which is expected in election work but can easily be avoided. Felt like they were just trying to use us as much as possible before the election and then discarded us immediately after (very little opportunity for advancement in the company).
