Great benefits and pay

Pros

The benefits the company offers are better than I’ve seen in the restaurant industry. Applying through the web site was easy. I received a relatively quick response, they responded to my application faster than Blue Bottle Coffee did. As a seasoned barista, the line of work isn't too far off from what I'm used to but having some skills in technology and data entry helps.

Cons

When I was onboarding, there was some difficulty but I got the impression that the company was going through a lot of transitions. They were opening new stores at the time. Other than that, there are no cons. I have faith that the onboarding process will flow more smoothly over time.

Very Corporate "Startup"

Pros

They really attract great talent (co-workers are great!) and the flexible time off is really nice.

Cons

The tools are very lacking for a tech company (at least in the area I worked in). It's great to be scrappy and figure things out on the fly because you usually feel like you're making such an impact. However, leadership (mostly directors and above) seem to be resistant to change and flexibility - even though they pride themselves on being "flexible".

Cons

short break, strict about times, stressful, all about productivity goals, so much favoritism, can get written up for anything, hard to get promoted
