Pros

Supportive women colleagues and primarily women led.

Cons

The number of customer service issues are unfathomable. This job is primarily customer service. Constant glitches in the system that are not resolved and you are told to work through them. Discretionary Time Off is pitched as unlimited. It's often not approved or you don't request it because your goals do not reflect approved vacation time. You'll still be expected to make your goals if you go on vacation. It affects work life balance poorly having to make that decision. If a vacation time was set it would encourage people to feel ok taking the time.

Pros

learned a bit about clothes i guess (not much more than i already knew tho lol)

Cons

the most toxic and unhealthy work environment i’ve ever experienced. worked there for 4 months and took the first exit i could (which was a pay cut but idgaf i needed to get out) the management is deplorable. every job i’ve had i’ve stayed at least 2+ years. i lasted 4 months at the realreal. i wish everyone currently working there good luck, god speed, and get out when you can.

Pros

Individual teams are super supportive and helpful This company is in a growth period! Lots of hiring and expanding. Consigning is sustainable and a great business model for current retail economic climate They are open to lateral moves and changing positions Generous stock plan Culture is shifting to a more positive one!

Cons

Compensation is okay, could be better Quotas can be aggressive and sometimes discouraging for Luxury Managers and Account Luxury Managers Work-Life balance is hard in most sales positions including management. There is an expectation to work and be available - reporting numbers at night and on the weekend, sending detailed messages over the weekend, etc. Upward mobility can be limited Micro-managing Change happens often and unexpectedly
