Pros

Great opportunity to learn all the Luxury designers and product knowledge.

Cons

The management is disgraceful. They have no shame is what they do which is, worrying about if an associate is better dressed than the manager. If they don't like you for you and had nothing to do with your work ethic, they'll make make up anything to make you quit. It's like high school and mean girls the movie in real life. It's really sad that those who you're supposed to look up to do not cat for your best interest. Also the job description isn't what you're actually doing, the company should absolutely pay their associate more to clean disgusting discharge and muddy shoes. Overall an alright company with ridiculously disgusting management.

Pros

Free bagels on Fridays? Probably the only thing that comes to mind. I definitely learned a lot about luxury fashion and different types of materials and furs, but I'm pretty sure fashion school can teach you that one. It might look good on your resume, but it's such a high turnover rate you'd be better getting hands on experience somewhere else where you'll be happier in a warm office rather than a freezing cold warehouse.

Cons

Managers, HR, anyone in charge DOES NOT LISTEN NOR COMMUNICATE TO THEIR EMPLOYEES! If you've read the reviews, there's a constant trend of bad communication from management. 1- SO unclear about sick days, PTO any kind of time off. The hand book is unclear and very misleading. If you're sick they use your PTO hours which is little to begin with. Theres not a separate category for sick days. If you have more than 80 hours of unplanned time off which is a "sick day" to them, you're terminated. There's volunteer hours where you take time off to volunteer? BUT WHO IS GOING TO USE THOSE?? Just give your employees sick days, the warehouse is so cold, we are always sick! Once again, BETTER OFF with a company that actually cares about your time off and well being. 2- Management- Where do I begin? They both got hired outside of the company so they went in not knowing anything about what their team does. They barely learned how to write a product description so late in the game. No one from the team could go up to ask them a question because they would freeze and tell you to ask their Lead. Honestly without both of them, the team would be fine. They are on their phones, on Instagram, shopping online, on the phone with personal business the whole day. It would be so nice if they were more hands on with you on how you can improve. They're so concerned about hitting your goal that they don't take time out to understand your strengths and weaknesses. Oh and the worst thing is if you don't hit your goal, you have to stay OT. You never know when you will be held for OT. So don't make plans after work!!! The manager is just so out of it, she just cares about goals. She doesn't have anything to offer anyone. There's no plans or strategies she has ever shared with the team for us to be better. 3-ITS COLD. They built a new break room where maybe 10-20% of the workers are closest to, that has insulated heat and it's completely on the opposite side of where the copy, receiving and photo team is which is basically 80% of the warehouse. We have a break room where it's completely cold and you have to layer up. The whole warehouse is freeeezing. We have personal heaters. I've gotten sick so many times from being in extreme temperatures. 4-Culture. Is there one? No. I've worked there for about 5 months and I don't know the philosophy or culture of the company. It's just go to work, go home and come back shortly after. If anything, it's HIGHSCHOOL. Everyone who works there are either straight out of college or haven't even been to college and LOVE drama. There will be drama anywhere but this drama reminds me of high school pettiness I wanted to get away from. It's not professional at all, once again go to a company where it's at least a professional work environment that values your sanity. 5- HR. So useless. There's a shuttle to get to Brisbane because it's in the middle of nowhere. The shuttle times are created by HR and they have NO idea what's going on or what time the shuttle should come. Employees had to email HR constantly telling them the schedule they made isn't realistic. Why have a shuttle come at 6:30 when we get off right at 6:30? No time to use the bathroom before a long commute or grab a snack. Once again, go somewhere that cares about their employees.
