Nightmare

Pros

None whatsoever. Perhaps finding other people to commiserate with was nice, it made you feel not so alone in your hellish position.

Cons

A complete mess. No work/life balance. They expect you to give it everything you have and then some. Probably would love it if you just slept under your desk. AVOID this place at all costs!

Pros

I haven't thought about The RealReal (negative or positive) I left for financial reasons and there was no bad blood (at least on my end) at all. But now after passing through a couple gigs since, I realized how freaking AMAZING their HR team was and felt compelled to write a review. Straight up the BEST I've ever experienced. Patrick Tracey and crew (blonde girl with glasses, and tall guy...Mark?---so sorry can't remember your names!) were just so freaking awesome. I always felt safe while working at this job and realized the HR team was a big reason why. Unfortunately, I worked a job where HR was almost non- existent and it was so easy to be straight up abused in the brand new fresh company. I was grabbed and cornered in conference rooms by a superior, he wanted to feel larger then he actually was, and knew he could get away with it because he, quote "was HR". I had had to leave my job, with a awful taste in my mouth. First time leaving a job upset. No fun. THIS WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED AT THE REALREAL. I hope the higher ups know what an amazing team they have in their HR team. They were always smiling, singing my name, and created an awesome environment to work in. I'm working an awesome gig as of now, but still, the HR team still isn't as special as The RealReal's. (just keepin' it real, real). If any of the HR team is up for a pay raise, give it to them. It's much deserved. If an ex-employee who hasn't worked there in over a year is writing a review like this, it has to be true.

Cons

None to share because this review is based on an experience with a different department. I didn't come here to bash! But the star ratings below will be rated on my photo editing experience.

We still get free lunch and still have a shuttle in SF

Pros

The lunch benefit has been changed to $50 per month on an Eat Club account. Yeah it won't the whole month. But it's better than nothing There is still a shuttle to/from Bart I worked at TRR back when we had free lunch nearly every day. We are not Facebook, we are not Google, with BILLIONS in revenue to be able to afford having catered lunch for everyone. The company is cutting back on such things...which yes does suck. But for survivability and the sake of becoming profitable so that we can be ready for going public. That's why it's happening

Cons

No job is perfect Yes there are aspects of the company that are not good. Every company has these.
