Pros

I've met some interesting people, and learned a lot about fashion. Also, I enjoy the fast-paced atmosphere. Office culture is quite refreshingly relaxed. There is just the right amount of personal autonomy.

Cons

There is slightly poor communication between management and their subordinates. Occasionally, directly contradictory information will be relayed. People waste time, and organization is a joke. Also, the old cliche of 10% of the people doing 90% of the work is completely true, at least in my dept. Furthermore, interactions between coworkers often bear a striking resemblance to those between rivals in High School, which would be irritating if it wasn't so entertaining.

Pros

The biggest pro is working with some of the smartest and talented people I've met. Other pros include free lunches, ping pong, great compensation/benefit, and awesome off sites.

Cons

There is little room for rest or mis steps. As a start up, things are evolving at a high rate, and you have to be on the top of your game to keep up, let alone help drive.

Pros

My colleagues are smart, motivated, caring, and enjoyable people. We give each other honest feedback and learn from each other. We've got a nice ping pong culture going.

Cons

At points, I get too much pressure from the business side to accomplish tasks that require time and thought to complete intelligently. When I first joined the company a year ago, the development pace was frenetic as we were just launching a full rewrite of the site. Unfortunately, the first wave of mostly contracted developers were lacking in the skills needed to make a well organized, well functioning site. After some while, we've managed to stabilize and now build better features. There is not enough climate control here in our main warehouse. On hot days, it gets too hot inside.
