Pros

Pays fairly good, offers health benefits (that its paid from your pay check of course) and discounts/coupons program, very flexible with your schedule.

Cons

Very very unstable company to work for in the last few years, wound say since 2021, you have a constant change of Managers, from the store to the market to the general and all other positions after that, they really don't care or at least fake it a bit to make you feel like they care about you (or their employees in general), they really never care for fixing internal problems so they are always replacing people they don't care to keep employees, they rather get rid of them creating a culture where they get rid of you if you are not beneficial for them, they wont talk with you they would just take you out of there, miscommunication between everyone to cover them selfs from problems and just not deal with them, you have no holiday pay, overtime is it paid time and a half BUT they would always try to keep 10 hours under your typical 40 hours a week, they pretty much wanna treat they full time employees as part time, their training its not good, they would have you starring at a screen for 2 weeks showing you everything but how to work the actual systems they used, and also the trainers are always changing, again a company that does not keep employees and just keep replacing them, there was a point where there was nobody to train new employees, just overall very selfish, unstable and unprofessional company that wont keep employees long and wont give you that hope to grow whiting a company because you see how they don't care, sorry for the long rant.

Pros

The pay is ok. Eventually you realize it is not worth it, with the many problems that you go through working there.

Cons

Training: There is little to no training. There was no proper training for employees to even try to retain knowledge. I was thrown out by myself there on my 3rd or 4th day and they expected me to make a sale with no information. I barely knew how to log into system or was not even given a t-shirt yet. No work-life balance: Could not take off for anything even if it was months in advance. Not enough people working there to rotate schedule or even get off for a day. Management: Every hour or even 30 minutes management messages in group chat about sales. If the store is dead, they do not care they just want a sell no matter how you sell it. This creates a hostile and toxic work environment. Management has no clue; they are sometimes no help. Manager does not prepare or demonstrate efficiently. The reginal management has most likely had not been there that long and was not given proper training either. This starts from the top to new hires. Environment: It was nice talking to customers in store. It can get annoying working with Walmart employees in electric department, and everyone is angry and asking for help and you are unable to help all while trying to sell phones. Efficiency: The company's setup is not very efficient. Should be a better way in 2023 to enter in customer's information. The system is repetitive and doesn't have many options to go back, compare plans, or even prices of phones customer are interested in.
