Pros

Big company benefits, small company feel. In Alberta the company hasn't been able to grow very big but you still get to have big company benefits like company vehicle, full health coverage, paid health coverage, RPP matching.

Cons

Certain management personalities have chases away all the sensible people leaving only those that don't mind being treated as replaceable.

Pros

Occasionally unique jobs arise. A pension and decent benefits plan. Eastern Canada appears to be more organized and acceptable.

Cons

Employee's are seen as disposable. Absolutely ZERO team building activities take place in the company. The incentive to stay with The State Group has been removed. The overall feel amongst employees is very "bleak" to say the least. Safety is a COMPLETE illusion.
