Pros

The Washington Post is a great place to work. I always feel like my contributions are valued by managers and by the organization as a whole. Big ideas are encouraged and supported. Cross-departmental collaboration is a part of almost every project, which brings you in contact with all kinds of people, all at the top of their game.

Cons

For the most part, The Post is a great place to work. It is a big company, and like other big companies, projects can occasionally get snagged up by bureaucracy.

Ivory Tower Atmosphere of Misery

Pros

Readership is growing, and Bezos has inspired drive for innovation. New headquarters building in DC is clean and nice.

Cons

Upper management is cleaning house, mostly female managers disappearing. Very little interaction between CRO and sales, same method he did with Time - get rid of majority of existing middle management, leaving the scared few as henchmen to start cleaning out salesforce. They are not above manipulating the numbers to 'entice' employees to leave, yet offering packages to walk out the door. CRO fails to interact with the majority, and demands hires of those he knows or specifies the company he wants them to come from. Atmosphere of fear, distrust and misery. I would not recommend working for this heartless company, as they treat sales terrible, especially women over the age of 40. Thankless job for management, as most disappear unless they become yes-men regardless of impact on others or their own dignity. Compensation is lacking, and they are not above making changes without telling you.

Women and Minority's need not apply

Pros

New, bright and clean office space

Cons

Poor management, old boys club in senior management, cliquish environment, women have been disappearing from the company at all levels, very few female managers and minority managers, deliberate policy of promoting whites that are clearly not qualified, managers do not have a clue how to run their departments results in very high turnover. Work life balance exists in a few departments. Lots of self promotion without real substance, can be a brutal work environment. Do your research lots of employee law suits against the post for bad treatment of employees.
