      Dead end after an initial sugar rush

      Pros

      Plenty of work, so there is job security. Entry level roles are fun and a good career starting point.

      Cons

      Management pontificates too much about how great they are running the organization instead of looking to delegate to future leaders. Micromanagement is rampant and management’s solution to every staffing shortage is to institute a shared resource model instead of hiring or allocating a dedicated team. The work load has gotten intense without overtime pay. There is a big resistance to promotions/raises after you hit a certain designation. Talented employees are beginning to move on. Base pay could be improved to be on par with current market.

      Low salary, work life balance difficult to maintain, rough engineering management, lots of travel, overnight travel in a moment's notice

      Management is Terrible

      Pros

      Get to go to new places around the United States and work with big fortune 500 corporations on start ups and commissioning.

      Cons

      The management is absolutely the worst I've ever had in the 10 years I've been in the industry. They promise allot to there employees and they do not deliver. If you're offered a job at this company make sure you get written on paper the things they promise you, otherwise you will not get them. They promoted my supervisor to director after I left and he shouldn't have been in management in the first place. The best thing that ever happened was me leaving this company. Very High turnover is this company's middle name.
