Three-plus years as a Staff Engineer says something real — glad the flexibility and hybrid setup have been working for you. A friendly environment doesn't happen by accident, and it's something we work hard to maintain. On the politics front, we hear you — directness over dynamics is something we hold ourselves to, and it's worth a constant gut-check. The CI/CD pain is a fair call; our engineering leadership knows dev experience is a force multiplier and it's actively on the investment roadmap. Thanks for sticking with us and for the honest read.

Competitive salary and strong hike recognition over five-plus years — genuinely glad that held up across your time here. The RSU piece is real feedback, and we hear it often; equity value is tied to what we're building, and we're focused on making ThoughtSpot a company where that matters. We appreciate the long run and the honest note at the end.

Pros

The peers are nice. Sales leadership is empathetic but focused.

Cons

Salary is quite average and similar companies are paying minimum 15-20 percent more. RSUs are paper money and IPO is just not on the cards so for now their value is nothing. Travel opportunities are none.
