Pros

ThoughtSpot has been an exceedingly satisfying place of work for me - the organization is extremely open (I have the opportunity to engage meaningfully with people throughout the organization - including executives/co-founders), it is meritocratic and open to role diversity - I've worked with Marketing, Engineering, Sales and with customers, and I am not alone.

Cons

The only con that occurs to me is that HQ is in Palo Alto when I would prefer San Francisco - commute is not ideal but you get used to it

Pros

Smartest, most friendly group I have ever worked with. People respect each other's functions. Lots of hard work and laughter. I look forward to coming to work.

Cons

Honestly? I know I could make more working at Google in the near term. This is apparent to anybody trying to build something. I have to balance that notion with the fact I like what I do here better, I actually make an impact on the business, and if we execute, this could really be worth something. The con might be the risk I am taking, but I chose to do it at ThoughtSpot vs all the others.

Pros

The smartest, most focused, most ego-free team I've ever seen, a product that's totally different than anything else and solves huge problems, and a wide-open opportunity to change how people access data. Great atmosphere, perfect balance of family and work, and a focus on doing the right thing--I never thought I'd find the perfect company. Amazing.

Cons

It's tough to keep up with how smart everyone is. They're focused on solving problems and having fun doing it, and it can be exhausting keeping up!
