Pros

The software is fun to use and teach.

Cons

Previous employee was fired for sexual misconduct and has since moved on to work for a customer. He has been allowed back in the TS office as a guest on the customer side.

Pros

They are quite generous on nights out.

Cons

They do not care about you as an employee. Providing nights out with alcohol isn't going to make you feel better at work.

Pros

The product road maap is solid, the newer versions show potential during all the demos that I have seen. The benefits are ok not the best in the world but are not disappointing as well. The leadership is flexible with your location to some extent and you get to work in an hybrid model and doesn't need you to be in the office

Cons

The best work culture is seen when you are looking at the engineering team in the organisation, they get all the praise and accolades. Your experience in this org will be decided based on the leader that you are working with. My team had an amazing leader earlier but after he left rather than hiring new leader the leadership gave the department to another internal person who doesn't know nor desires to understand anything about the processes that we are working on. And I have seen this happening a lot in the 2 years that I have been here. Layoffs are common phenomenon in the IT world these days so won't target Thoughtspot on that front however what's problematic is that people are not given an option to take a look at other opportunities from different departments rather they are just let go. Favouritism is a common theme that you will find in a lot of reviews and I would say that it's a truth at Thoughtspot, it doesn't matter how hard you work but things will go the way the favourite child would say irrespective of how dumb or counter productive they are.
