Horrible remote culture

Pros

- They leave you alone and let you do your work. - Good budget for internet and phone.

Cons

- Over attachment to office culture. - They will tie you to an office which if you're remote, you'll never see unless you spend your own money to go to it. They don't make any attempt to bring remote people into the office. - If you're remote, it's incredibly difficult to find coworkers in your area to try connect with. - They spend a lot of money on office events and lunches and budget nothing for remote folks. - They stopped doing holiday parties, haven't offered bonuses which they used to not do "because we have holiday parties", and instead started budgeting more for offices to have lunches. - Travel to clients is not happening anymore. - No budget for a home office.

Pros

- smart people - technology leaders - positive culture - very poor management and leadership, with little to no qualifications

Cons

- "relationships matter more than results" is what the management states as a core value, so ti comes down to who you know and who likes you, rather than results, which encourages politics over productivity - the average employment is less than 2 yrs - company lacks diversity, below the industry average, although it's a core value and objective - equality among workers doesn't really exist

Pros

At one point the people were truly wonderful to work with. I learned a lot in my first couple of years there.

Cons

The last few years at Tw were stagnant and filled with uncertainty. It was clear that my line manager had no vested interest in my growth. They'll say that your growth at Tw all depends on you which is true. But it also came down to who you know and where you worked before. They'll comment that this isn't the case, that your growth is self directed, but that's simply not true. I saw people being promoted for virtually no reason, people who had a reputation for getting little done and also being difficult to work with. Meanwhile, the people who were highly regarded as model coworkers were often laid off or resigned. Sad culture that, now with an ex-Accenture CEO will be totally lost.
