Pros

The work atmosphere is casual and there is a lot of room for creative thinking. There is a good deal of flexibility to take on new assognments and develop different skills if you're interested and up for the task.

Cons

You never know when there are going to be layoffs. Co-workers seem to distrust each other and gripe behind your back. CEO is constantly changing direction of the company and expect sales people to follow suit over night or be fired. Different departments tend to step on each other's toes and duplicating effort already done or in process in another group.

Startups are pretty tough on everyone and if you haven't don't it before you will be taken back by the roller coaster ride. The mgt in question here has be purged and we are striving to have a great place to work.

Pros

The engineers are great, hard-wording people.

Cons

Where to I start? If I could give zero stars, I would. None of the other opinions here are genuine. I worked as a software engineering contractor for this terrible company for three years (even though I was full time, they controlled all my work, I went into the office weekly, and should have been paid as an employee). I had to quit after they refused to pay me for 2 months of invoices ($18,400 that they STILL OWE ME a year later!). I never got a single response from management about this to this day. TWC is involved, and they didn't respond to them either. The management is AWFUL. Especially the CEO, Lee Harrison (aka. The Tiny Terror), who is in his own little mind the most important person in the building, who in reality does very little to make the business better for employees OR customers. When he enters the room, honest conversation exits ASAP. He will regularly make baffling decisions and promise things that never materialize. For instance, he told us every single month (sometimes weekly) that the company would be purchased «any day now», and that has been the story for years. It's always a new suitor, and they never buy because he keeps asking for too much money, or just scares them off with his demeaning personality. The company atmosphere is to live in fear of him getting involved in anything, and then trying not to tell him he made a mistake, or else. The management staff under him do their best to shield employees from him, but he sneaks in like a cockroach. The engineers on staff are great, hard-working people making very solid software for people who do not deserve to own them. Don't do business with Lee Harrison.

Pros

- Flexible hours - Work from home most of the time - Pay was fair - Small, solid dev team - Good product

Cons

- Frequent management turnover - Noticeable disconnect between engineers and upper management - PTO somewhat limited - Some upper management were paranoid about employee's work ethic during pandemic
